Still Born is an animated documentary about loss, anger and sorrow. A cardiac malformation leaves the soon-to-be parents with an unacceptable choice. The film is written, directed and animated by Åsa Sandzén.

It has been awarded the Golden Dove for best animation at DOK Leipzig, Honorary Mention at Nordisk Panorama and Best Short film at Uppsala Short Film Festival 2014. It has also won a Swedish Guldbagge.

Nils has developed an all and all soft and organic look by motiontracking the backgrounds and also blending in elements in the foreground, creating parallax effects.
